Social Media Marketing at the Dentist

As a dental patient, I would never expect to see my dentist or orthodontist on social media. They simply clean my teeth, look for cavities, and give me fluoride. That’s our relationship. That being said, if I was ever looking for a new dentist, finding one that’s active on social media might persuade me to visit.

Businesses like restaurants and stores often have active social media pages. They have Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more. So why can’t dental practices be active?

Social media for dental practices could be made easy with the right marketing strategy and product. Luckily, this product does exist; it’s a dental photo booth.

Dentists can use the company Buzzy Booth’s photo booth to improve their dental social media content. “How?” you may ask. Each photo taken on the selfie kiosk can be shared by the patients, or by the dentist. Patients can share the pictures they take online to Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, etc. When they share their photos, the logo of the dentist will pop up so others know where the photo was taken. And if patients so choose, they can tag the dental clinic in the photo when they share it. Additionally, the booth saves these photos so the clinic can share them to their personal account, too. This will draw patients in because they’ll see how fun and light-hearted the dental clinic is. Plus, it’s a dentist that has something other than old magazines in the waiting room. I know that would certainly sway me.

This product is really easy to set up and super easy to use. The company will send it to you put together, so all you have to do is plug it in and start taking pictures. The photo booth is extra fun because it has filters, many of which cater to the business using them. Dentists can set up their photo booths to have filters of big teeth and toothbrushes. This will really nail in that they are promoting their dental clinic.

There’s no reason why a dentist or orthodontist can’t be active and use social media for marketing, too. Take the first step by using BuzzyBooth to do all the work for you. You’ll be one of the first dentists, and probably the only one in your area, to have a dental marketing and photo booth. Make the dentist fun with a selfie kiosk.
